Rare Photos Of Disneyland Opening Day July 17, 1955 (36 Pics)

On July 17  1955 a lot of kids were privileged to be the first visitors to the most iconic and most popular theme park – The Disneyland.
After years of construction and investment of approximately $17 million, on Sunday at 2 p.m the gates were opened and a river of a happy kids galloped in the world of Walt Disney. An exclusive ‘International Press Preview’ event was held, which was open only for invited guests.S tudio workers, construction workers, the press and officials of company sponsors was among the six thousands invitated that had been mailed for the grand opening.
