As mentioned on previous comments, this is certainly NOT a silencer for a tank. It is a silnencer for the PzH 2000 and it is used only on a military training facility to keep the noise level down in order not to disturb the village nerarby.
Not to disturb the village nearaby? You office chair expert...shhhhh let's not wake anybody up. What about the tons of high explosive going off where the shells land? Does it have a 'snooze' button? And since you probably are going to say they fire dummy-shells I'll save ya the trouble and announce one landed at your place. I know you wiki-ed that whole PzH 2000 crap too.
