Ross MacDonald never finished high school, nor did he have dreams of one day being the guy that makes paper props for the movies. He worked his way up through a series of jobs from house painter to magazine and book illustrator, before eventually falling into the rather particular profession in the film and television industry as ‘prop designer & consultant on period print and design’.
