Italian fisherman Dino Ferrari landed the world record for the largest catfish to be caught with a rod and reel. Ferrari's fish measured and incredible 8.7 feet in length and weighed 280 pounds.
Former park ranger Mark Moffett, discovered this Giant Weta, a cricket-like creature that is only found on Little Barrier Island, New Zealand. This particular Giant Weta weighed a staggering 71 grams, and has been declared the largest ever found.

Giant George, a 43-inch-tall Great Dane from Tuscon, Arizona, holds two world records: tallest living dog and tallest dog ever.



Angler Raphael Biagini got the surprise of his life when he landed this gigantic koi carp on a fishing trip to France. At 30lb it's thought to be the largest of its kind ever caught in the wild.

Mikel Ruffinelli has the unique title of the record-holder for the world’s largest butt. Ruffinelli’s hips carry a circumference of 8.25 feet, good for biggest on earth, and she loves it.

18-year-old Adrianne Lewis of Twin Lake, Michigan, has the longest tongue in the world. At 4 inches, it's so long she can even touch her eye with it.

Mehmet Ozyurek is the proud title holder for the world's biggest nose. His giant nose measures an incredible 3.46 inches.

The General Sherman tree is found in Sequoia National Park and is believed to be the world's largest tree by volume. The tree is about 52,500 cubic feet (1,487 cubic meters) in volume. General Sherman is estimated to be about 2,000 years old.

Designed by British design company Hybrid Air Vehicles for the U.S. Military, the Airlander 10 is bigger and a Boeing 747, at 302 feet. The mega aircraft is a a hybrid of plane, helicopter, hovercraft and airship.

Venezuela’s Angel Falls, is the highest waterfall in the world. With a height of 979 m (3,212 ft), Angel Falls defines majesty. Its greatest single drop measures 807 m (2,648 ft), with other rapids and cascades combining to form the remaining height.

The longest snake ever (captivity) is Medusa, a reticulated python (python reticulatus), owned by Full Moon Productions Inc. in Kansas City, Missouri, USA. When measured on 12 October 2011, she was found to be 7.67 m (25 ft 2 in) long.

Peter Glazebrook from Newark holds the record for the heaviest onion at 18lbs 1oz.

Biologist Mauricio Hoyos Padilla posted a Facebook video of what he claims is the biggest great white shark ever filmed: An approximately 20-foot (6-meter) long female dubbed Deep Blue.
