  3. The japanese governement did not left much choice to the american governement, they would not surrender even after the first bomb they did not, after the second the prime minister of Japan saw the great suffering of his people and could not bear it but if it haven't been for him the army would have kept fighting. You have to understand their code of honor even today some of them think they should not have surrendered. But things being what they are now they swore to be a peaceful nation and I think we can trust them on their oath. I did not know about all those things, its really horrifyng to see what we can do to each others

  4. Yeah, but the war crimes Nazis committed are greatly surpassed by the crimes commited by Soviets. (Compare the number of people Hitler got killed to those Stalin ordered to be killed.)

  5. You're joking, right? Between Stalin, Hitler, and the IJA, trying to say who was the bigger monster is like trying to say which giant pile of turd stinks worse.

The atomic bombing of two cities is absolutely nothing compared to what these sick, evil b***ards did AS A MATTER OF ROUTINE.

  7. The Russians, Germans and the Japanese, in that order. But the US are the ones in full denial of their crimes. The atomic bombs annihilated 200 000 civilians and injured many more for generations after. The bombing locations were selected for maximum civilian destruction. People of Japanese decent was forced to live in camps despite them being US citizens for generations. And don't get us started on the Vietnam war.

  8. One could argue about the atom bomb hits on Japan, but there were many atrocities by our troops that never got reported. In fact this happens in a few of our wars. I know this first hand. I have, for example, a picture a cousin sent me in which he is on an island in the Pacific--WWII--hold a Skull in his hand...And in Korea I had as part of my job working with the papers detailing the shooting of POWs, for it seemed easier to kill them than to go through the task of getting them back to camps for incarceration.

  10. Those cities that US nuked are both cities that housed military facilities. It's amazing how many of you missed the point that if they surrendered after the first city is nuked, the second one will be saved, that said, it is the Japanese themselves who let their second city nuked. And why the PM of Japan surrendered after the second nuke? Because US spread rumor about Tokyo will be the third, they were just cowards protecting themselves. Not mentioning the king of Japan is ultimately the one whose responsible for starting the war, the PM is just a loyal scapegoat.

  12. You all people are discussing about the past. Please look now, what US is doing in Yemen, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iraq. Millions have been killed so far directly and it has started a vicious circle of Terrorism in these countries. Drone strikes, missille attacks, economic sanctions and other like methods are merely aggravating the situation, instead of solution. What else US need? US is declared super power, EU and Gulf States are sitting in lap of US, China too is moving peacefully (without indulging in affairs of other countries) then ,what is threatning US?
